Maintenance that means
someone answers.

Launch day is the start, not the finish. Care plans that keep your system secure, backed up and improving — with a developer who answers when something breaks.

who this is for

Sound familiar?

  • Sites hacked, defaced or broken after a plugin update
  • Businesses whose developer vanished — it happens more than you'd think
  • Teams that need fixes and small improvements without a new project each time
  • Owners who want monitoring before customers notice downtime

the honest bit

What it costs.

Care plans typically run KES 5,000–15,000/month depending on system complexity and response SLA; one-off rescues are quoted after the audit. Details in my website maintenance guide for Kenya.

deliverables

What you get.

01

Care plans (monthly) — updates, security patches, backups and uptime monitoring on a predictable retainer.

02

Bug fixes & debugging — systematic diagnosis, not plugin roulette.

03

Emergency rescue — hacked-site cleanup, broken-checkout recovery, restoration from backup.

04

Small improvements — new sections, landing pages, tweaks — inside the retainer, no re-quote dance.

05

Hosting management — server updates, SSL renewals, email and domain admin handled.

06

Honest reporting — what was done, what broke, what I'd fix next — monthly, in plain language.

how it ships

The process.

step 1

Audit first

A review of your stack, backups (do they exist? do they restore?), security and update debt.

step 2

Baseline & monitor

Backups verified, monitoring live — then maintenance starts from a known-good state.

step 3

Scheduled upkeep

Updates applied on staging where sensible, security patches promptly, reports monthly.

step 4

Priority support

Care-plan clients get same-day response; emergencies get immediate triage.

proof

Relevant work.

Not mockups — systems running in production.

faq

Straight answers.

My site was hacked — can you fix it?

Usually, yes. The process: isolate, clean, restore from verified backup, close the hole (usually an ancient plugin or weak credentials), then set monitoring so it doesn't happen twice.

My previous developer disappeared — can you take over?

Yes — takeovers are common. I audit access (domain, hosting, code, credentials), document what exists, then either maintain or recommend a rebuild depending on what I find.

Do I really need monthly maintenance?

If the site makes you money, yes — unmaintained sites rot: PHP versions move, plugins get exploited, SSL lapses, forms silently stop sending. A year of neglect costs more than a year of care.

What does the 30-day warranty cover?

Every build I ship includes 30 days of defect fixes free — bugs in what I built, on supported browsers and devices. New features and third-party breakages are separate, and priced transparently.

Tell me what's broken, slow or worrying — I'll audit it and tell you what it actually needs.

Written scope, honest pricing, 30-day defect warranty on everything I ship.
